i recently done this drawing of Malcolm X. This is because recently iv been looking at western systems and how people become a product of this system. malcolms father was killed by a white supremesist group and in the court being all white they denied all evidence of it being murder. his family also suffered many other attacks for example his uncle was lynched by the kkk and malcolms family home was burnt down. in his young adult years malcolm traveled around america trying to find work to provide. being a black person in america at this time it was almost impossible to get work that payed enough to get by. from an early age all malcolm was shown by white america and the western system was only hate. he turned to crime as a way to provide like many at this time in poor areas or of different race. from research it seems a western system looks after their rich and forgets about their poor. malcolm went to prison for burglary this was where he found islam. it was when he was free he began to preach islam and black peoples rights. he also preached hate towards white america but this is understandable seeing all he was ever given was hate. white america had taken everything from his family to his origin being the reason he named himself X he did not want to carry the name of his forebears slave master and named himself x meaing the unknown. It was when malcolm went on his pilgrimage and found mecca he saw equality for the first time in his life. this changed his veiws completely as he met muslims of all colours and backgrounds. this shows while he was in america he was a product of that system and the hate they had shown to him and it was when he left he found equality. he brought these views back with him to america and focused on human rights. This was just a quik drawing of an eagle skull and a bulldog skull. Its a basic idea where the eagle represents USA and the bulldog UK. its just saying how on the surface the animals show a good and grand image but under the skin there is a darker image.Jack

After watching a few documentaries on Al Capone i decided to draw this. He seemed very much like a modern day robin hood. he opened up the first free soup kitchen in chicago, he would pay hospital bills for survillians harmed in mob shootings, he put expirey dates on dairy products after people around him became ill, he would tip hard working people $100 each time and at the same time he was a notorious mob boss. in his early career he struck fear into the authorities and was respected by the people this gave him power. attempts on his life caused him to retaliate by ordering murders, this was his downfall where he lost the respect of the people. This is a drawing i did after looking into why gangs start in some areas.I recently watched a documentary called made in america by Stacey Peralta. its about the birth of the infamous Bloods and Crips. what was interesting was that it shows the history of gangs in LA and a few of the many reasons why they started such as racial divides, poverty, media and drugs and guns being put in the area. Its shows how this society is a product of what the goverment has created.jack. RIP-RIDE.

I done this drawing after recently i was followed up 2 streets by 2 police officers. i was then pushed by one of them causing me to hold ma hands out. the officer then said i assaulted him and i was then slammed to the floor by a group of them who appeared after being followed. i was then punched twice in the back by an officer whilst on the floor in cuffs, which is pretty cowardly to hit someone with their back faced on the floor in cuffs. thats what i got for trying to walk home. just shows what sorta people we have in positions of authority. This is a drawing i did of Charlie Chaplin in the movie the Great Dictator. He plays a emporer who is based on hitler and also plays a jewish barber who looks identical to the emporer. the jewish barber is then mistaken to be him showing that everyone is the same. chaplin was a silent comedian and its amazing the few words he did speak are some of the most powerful iv heard. maybe one day people might listen but anyway heres tha speech i hope it has the same affect on everyone.
